Just thinking…

In the past few days, Ive discovered an artist by the name of Imogen Heap, and yet again, I find myself hourly “jacking” into my Ipod or comp to play her cd again. I find its one of those Cd’s that provoke thought. I thoroughly enjoy music that does just that, inspires. Something ethereal. And its not because of her wording, by all means half of the time you cant understand what she’s saying, but more along the lines of the melodies have a swiftness about them that seems to inhibit just enjoying music for music, but transcending the normal lyric or rythym and creating something altogether different. Unique.
And again, some of the lyrics, (or at least the ones that are above all else, translatable) seem to one some levels relate to how my mind operates in terms of dating rituals. Sometimes I wonder what would happen if persay, Myspace didn’t exist how exactly I’d survive in this world. I mean frankly, since new york, i haven’t gone out once to any form of Gay bar or Club or other form of Gay interaction, and really without so much as a second guess. I pay part of the distraction to moving (which has finally finished) and work.
but in other news, Ive finally mustered up the self control to lose the toher ten pounds i want to and find my new gym (moving forces me to find a new one) so for the next two weeks its simply going to the gym day in and out and staying away from my edible vices, ie McD’s, or Wendy’s….lol
Short blog i know, just not in the writing mood. later kids

  1. Imogen heap rocks. Plain and simple. Her music inspires me in more ways than one. YOu should also pick up some Frou Frou, which is her band prior to Imogen Heap.

    My favorites are :
Have you got it in you
    Come Here Boy
    Hide & Seek
    Shh
    Hear Me Out

She is just a great artist.
